Mikrotik Academy at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur!
The Mikrotik Academy at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT) is a collaboration program between the Informatics Engineering department and MikroTik to provide Mikrotik education/training for UMKT students, along with the administration of the Mikrotik international certification exams (MTCNA - MikroTik Certified Network Associate).
Program Benefits
Regular Classes: Classes specifically designed for undergraduate students in the Computer Systems and Information Engineering program, where Mikrotik materials are integrated into the curriculum.
Opportunity to attract more students to the campus by offering MikroTik certification.

- Router RouterBOARD.
- Support and information.
Course Content
The course content provided by MikroTik to the MikroTik Academy includes:
- Introduction to Mikrotik.
- Installation and operation of Mikrotik.
- Basic Firewall.
- Routing.
- Bridge System.
- Wireless Concepts.
- Advanced Firewall.
- Queue (Bandwidth Management).
- Tunnels and VPNs.
MikroTik offers a certification program aimed at students, learners, and network engineers for managing networks using MikroTik devices. In the IT world, certifications are highly valuable as they provide an additional credential to those who hold them. Furthermore, certifications serve as recognition from vendors or associations of the expertise of certificate holders in specific fields.
The MTCNA certification program at the MikroTik Academy UMKT is only available for providing training and certification exams to students in the Informatics Engineering department of the Faculty of Computer Science. For certifications at the Advanced and Expert levels, they can only be obtained through MikroTik Training Centers.
